HonorJar is built to need as little about you as possible. You can tip without an account, without signing in, and without telling us who you are.
What we collect
- Nothing required. An anonymous tip carries no personal information about you.
- Your email — only if you choose to give it, so a creator can send a thank-you or reply and so you get a receipt.
- Payment details go straight to Stripe, our payment processor. We never see or store your card number.
- Tip records — the amount, which creator or item it was for, the site it came from, and the time. These let creators see their support; on their own they don't identify you.
- Small values in your browser (local storage) to remember simple preferences and avoid double-counting.
How we use it
- To send a receipt, thank-you, or reply when you leave an email.
- To keep each creator's tip ledger and keep the service running.
- We do not sell your data or use it for advertising.
Who we share it with
Only the services that make HonorJar work: Stripe for payments and Cloudflare for hosting. We share what those services need and nothing more.
Your choices
Tip anonymously by leaving the email field blank. If you did leave an email and want it removed, email us and we'll delete it.
